Radhika Srinivas

Radhika Srinivas is an award-winning Artist living and working in Pennsylvania, USA. Her work has been exhibited locally and Nationally in the USA and is in many private and Corporate Collections in India, Singapore and the USA. Recently two of her Plein Air paintings which were done in France were acquired by Miles Copeland, Former Music Band Manager of the Police. She has garnered national recognition in major Watercolor Societies and most recently been juried into the prestigious American Impressionist Society’s International Exhibition and their 6th Annual Small Works Show. She has also been published in the world’s leading watercolor magazine, Splash ’21.

In the past few years, Radhika has participated in Juried Plein Air Competitions at the National Level and gained recognition by winning notable awards. She believes that painting through direct observation has enriched and made her a better artist. Capturing the mood and atmosphere of the scene is what she strives for in a painting and hopes to continue painting En Plein Air in the perennial pursuit of learning.

Radhika has a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts from India, a post graduate degree in textile design from The Fashion Institute of Technology, New York, and a certificate in graphic design from The Parsons School of Design, New York. Her source of inspiration comes from her various travels around the world, Chester County, Pennsylvania and everyday urban street life. She is a Signature Member of the Philadelphia Water Color Society, The Pennsylvania Society and is affiliated with the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society and the American Impressionist Society.
